12th International Conference on the Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds, May 31-June 4

Held in Portland, OR at the Oregon Convention Center, Battelle’s Chlorinated Conference is one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive meetings on the application of innovative technologies and approaches for characterization, monitoring and management of chlorinated and complex sites. The 2020 Conference will include more than 1,000 platforms and posters in 88 breakout sessions. Five panel discussions will be conducted. Sessions and panels are organized according to thirteen major topic areas, seen on the Program page, that will address the innovative application of existing and new technologies and approaches for characterization, treatment and monitoring of chlorinated and other recalcitrant compounds and emerging contaminants in various environmental media.

American Physical Society (APS) Division of Atomic, Molecular & Optical Physics (DAMOP) 2020 Conference, June 2-5

Held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR, the 51st Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics (DAMOP) bring together more than 1,200 physicists from around the world to discuss their research and latest developments in atomic, molecular and optical physics. Its central focus is fundamental research on atoms, simple molecules, electrons and light, and their interactions. It plays an enabling role underlying many areas of science through the development of methods for the control and manipulation of atoms, molecules, charged particles and light, through precision measurements and calculations of their properties, and through the invention of new ways to generate light with specific properties.

2020 APHL Annual Meeting (Association of Public Health Laboratories), June 6-11

Held at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR, APHL 2020, the Association of Public Health Laboratories Annual Conference, will bring together more than 600 professionals to consider issues, trends and technologies influencing public health laboratory science and practice.
